Element Moving & Storage

We spent over $40K in moving and storage expenses with Elements to move and store our furniture for 9 months. When they moved us into our new home they lost 5-6 boxes. Including my wife’s entire wardrobe, kitchen supplies, family photos, etc. They said that all boxes were accounted for and were totally unresponsive. We had numerous problems with the president of the company, who refused to acknowledge any problems they had. Including trying to charge us $1,100 overage over the original estimate.

I just wanted to thank Julie and the team at Element Moving and Storage.  It's not very often I come across a company that is so sincere, professional and goes out of their way to make everything just right. I initially thought our move would be a disaster when the first moving truck had a mechanical failure the day it arrived. However, Element dispatched a second truck with in a few hours and we were back in business! I was afraid our move was going to get pushed back (we were on the last day of our rent) and we would have to pay a prorated rent fee along with some penalties for not moving out on time. But thankfully, Julie had another truck on stand by in case this happened. Our move ended up going great and I was thankful I found Element. I got 3 bids from moving companies and Element was perfect. We didn't go w the cheap moving bid for several reasons, but in the end we paid a bit more and got ALOT more than we thought. Hats off to Julie and the gang for a successfull move. We even tiped the moving crew because of their constant attention to detail. Much appreciated!

I made the mistake of not going with this company from the start. I originally went with across usa moving and storage which are a bunch of crooks, they attempted to quadruple my price. (that's another story) Anyway I contacted Sheila immediately after I canceled my other company and she called me back after hours and I needed A FAST MOVE, because my things were already supposed to be gone by then. She was able give me a realistic pick up time and realistic non escalate quote that was reasonable due to the circumstances. SHEILA THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP, YOU HELPED A BIG FAMILY AND WE APPRECIATE YOU. So the truckers came as scheduled and it was a great operation to be part of, they were great with wrapping and loading my stuff. They arrived as scheduled (the driver would call me every few days) and the individuals were nice and knowledgable and careful with our stuff. All in all, I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Element, and would use them again.

Our move day in June 2014 was fantastic!!  We had a three-man move team.  It was obvious from the start that Neftaily, Moises, and Brandyn are professional movers who have been well trained.  They went immediately to work meticulously and carefully wrapping our furniture and loading it properly into the truck.  They worked hard and steady all day in our 4100 square foot, two-story home.  They respected our home and made sure everything was protected.  From the beginning of the day to the end, my husband and I felt in good hands, and that was important to us.  Neftaily, Moises, and Brandyn have integrity..we did not have to watch over them to make sure they were working and doing their jobs correctly.  They were self motivated and driven to do a superb job.  Element took the stress out of moving for my husband and me.  Thanks for taking care of business so timely, professionally, and respectfully.

Great company with real and polite people working for them. I decided to choose this company after reading reviews online. They were mostly postitive. I had asked for an online quote from another moving company and they blew up my phone for 2 weeks even after I asked them to stop calling. Element called me the day I requested the quote and they were not pushy about me picking them and explained what they offered and they were informative. Rates were competitive to the area as well. On the phone I prepaid a few dollars to reserve the move and recieved a call a 2 days before my move to confirm.. and that was it! Movers were on time professional and quick. Did not waste time did not take breaks worked solid for basically 3 hours. I was moving out from a 3rd story apartment which, I moved into with myself with the help of a few friends, so I know how hard it is to carry all that stuff up and down 3 flights of stairs. I would recommend them highly and will most likley use them again in the future.

We were moving from an apartment into a home.  We found Element Moving on Angie's List.  They had great reviews and we asked them for an estimate. They came out promptly and were right on time.  Their price was below any other companies we contacted and the service was above reproach.  They communicated often and kept you up to date on how the move would proceed.  We agreed upon a price and set a date for the move.  On the moving day Luis, Neftaily, and Isaac arrived on time and were ready to go to work.  They proceeded with great professionalism and were very friendly and courteous.  All the furniture items were individally wrapped and carried to the truck one at a time.  They took extra care to insure that no items were damaged or broken. We finished with the apartment and proceeded to remove our items from a storage area.  The job was completed several hours ahead of schedule and nothing was harmed.  I would definitely recommend Element Moving and their crew for all of your moving needs.  We will definitely use them again when the need arises.

I have used this company before and found them to be excellant. I requested the same movers a year later and got two of them, Eddie and Jorge. Mike the driver was new to me.  All three men were very good, knowledgeable on moving and acted very professional. They worked hard all day without a break and completed our move in a timely manner. They helped set up furniture and followed our instuctions on placement of furniture and boxes very well also. I would recommend Element Moving to anyone and if I were moving again, I would request the same men as this time.   David Marrs.

Element gave us a good estimate, with a knowledgeable salesman. Our crew, Mike, Eddie, and Jorge were terrific -- helpful, upbeat, careful, and considerate. We hit a snag at the apartment when the management had to rekey the lock to our storage -- the crew didn't let it bother them, just continued doing what they could do to use the time while the lock was being fixed. Can't say enough good things about this crew and the company. Move was done early and safely.   .

Mike and Jorge were fantastic and efficient in my move. Mike jumped right it as soon as they got there, asked questions about boxes and rooms. I couldn't be happier with them, they even finished earlier than expected. It wasn't a big move but we did have a lot of breakables and big items. Everything reached it's destination safely and mike even unhooked and offered to hook up our washer and dryer (couldn't hook it up because of different outlets), which was above and beyond the call. Brandi over the phone was fantastic as well, very detailed and humorous. I felt very comfortable after talking with her and immediately scheduled a move time. Overall, awesome moving company.

The people at Element Moving are great! This is the second time in the past 7 months that I have used them and will be calling them for a third move in a few months. They are very professional and consciencous.
When I call, I automatically as for Brandi.  She is very helpful and patient. Our moving team this time consisted of La'Darrius and Jorge. They were very careful to wrap and tie all of my furniture and lamps.  They took special care to make sure that all parts were kept together.  Not 1 bolt or screw was lost! Thank you Element Moving -- I see you again in a few months.    .

Selecting Element Moving was one of the best decisions I've made.  The entire experience from start to finish was absolutely fantastic and took my apprehension and worry away!  They moved me from a 2-bedroom apartment in Grapevine, TX to a harbor-front, downtown city row-house in Baltimore, MD.  Element Movers went the extra mile to ensure my possessions were handled with care and professionally wrapped. Element Moving was extremely courteous as well as professional.  I was always able to contact them at every step of the moving process.  They treated my move as a top priority and that made a huge difference. Every promise was kept and every time scheduled held true..even though we had a winter storm front move across Maryland, they still arrived without delay!  Remarkable!  I've used the BIG name transport carriers in the past and the damage and arrogance had left me somewhat frustrated when the time came to begin searching for a company that would provide quality service at a reasonable price.  My experience was so terrific that I also hired them to also handle my son's local move in Grapevine.

It took the movers 11 hours to pack and move a two hour distance. In the past, other movers had done it in 5 hrs.

The packers were slow slow that I eventually asked a friend to help. She arrive late and yet still packed more than 50% of the house. At the end of 11 hrs they still weren't done, yet they wanted me to pay them. I refused to pay until the job was completed, as contracted.

The job cost twice what they quoted me and I had to haggle since the increased price was their fault (inefficiency).

They damaged 6 items and gave me nothing to compensate.

Do NOT use Element Moving. They will give you a great quote and then take twice as long and charge you twice as much.

The dishonesty was at best. Shocking. I am still beside myself with the whole experience. I don't know what is worse, the lies, or the theft/damage.  The move cost over $6000.00 and they stole or damaged over $7000.00 worth of items.  The boxes that were missing just mysteriously disappeared, very personal items and the owner of the company, Elle Nesher, could not care less. I made my claim and jumped through all the hoops they said to. They have sent me a check for $69.00 to "Reimburse" me.  $69.00!  That's it.  Even with the .60 cents per pound per article, the amount should have been close to $1000.00 since the weight of the goods damaged/stolen was over 1500 pounds. No phone calls of apology, no attempt on the companies part to right the situation.  Wooden bookcases were completely demolished.  Dresser drawers ruined.  Kitchen table and chairs, all solid oak, were cracked and chipped. Large picture boxes, the ones that plainly state "Do not lay flat" were shoved in between boxes, flat of course, and the company claims they are not responsible for the items broken inside the boxes.  So many things were broken.  So many things missing.  They swore up and down that all their employees were element employees, but a completely different company showed up with my shipment, baking van lines. Certainly not element moving and storage.  After I made it clear to every company I got quotes from that I did not want to do business with a company who outsourced any part of my move. This was extremely important to me and the company knew this, so they lied to get my business. They said 10 days for the move, it took three weeks. I was robbed, disrespected and disregarded. Do not use this company.

I received two on-site estimates and Element came in MUCH less than the other estimate. They also said they could finish the move in one day whereas the other company said they would load one day, then unload the second or possibly even the third (and this was only a 150 mile move).   Mike, Eddy, and LaDarrius were my movers. They showed up on time, did a great job loading/unloading and finished well within the estimated time alloted in the estimate. No hidden costs or surprises as hear about with many companies.   I would recommend Element to anyone looking to find a trust-worthy moving company!    .

Just wanted to take a moment and review Element, because it's not that often I come across ANY company that I want to tell others about publiclly.
However, Element is one of those companies with an outstanding staff and customer services. On top of that, they actually do what they say and stick to it.
Time after time I have hired moving companies (I'm retired but still travel to locations and move often) in the past and they have all had dismal failures. Even one time loosing my entire moving truck of furniture for 4 days in Ohio. 
Anyway, Element had none of that and their crew was very poliet and courteous to say the least. They move like the wind and always called me "Sir" even though I wasn't wearing any military uniforms!
Give them a call for a Solid 5 star move.

I found these guys from a Groupon deal when I was searching the area for quality movers.  After doing research, this company is accredited by the BBB, which really caught my eye.  Submitted a quote request which was promptly answered by Hollie, followed  by a phone call shortly after.  Explaining to Hollie that I had seen a deal from Groupon, and she offered to price match it right then and there to save me the trouble of going through the whole process of Groupon (A in my book).  Hollie was extremely informative and helpful. She was completely honest in estimating what I needed in order to get my move done right and on time.  When the moving day came, Mike, Eddie, and Jorge were very courteous and polite.  Paper work was straight forward, and explaination of services was spot on from what Hollie and I spoke about.  NO HIDDEN FEES or FINE PRINT.  They told me what was going to happen and made it happen.  The 3 man team came on-time, and was able to move my 2br/1bth apartment to a house 45 min away, and was able to do it under 2 hours without damaging any items.  Very cool guys to work with, would highly recommend these 3 guys to anybody seeking recommendation on moving companies.   Great Job ELEMENT! You will be hearing from me again in future moves!

We had multiple issues.  first, the salesperson underestimated the move by 50% of what it actually cost.  We stored our household goods at their storage facility in Carrollton, TX and we asked for some discounts due to the poor estimating; but after saying that they would help us; in the end, they did nothing.   Upon delivery of our goods, we discovered a number of broken items, badly scratched furniture, and items such as lamps and cabinets that were broken down to such a level that we could not put them back together.  The boxes were unmarked as to what room that went to, and parts of a given item ended up in more than one box.  We had large items broken (e.g., a 3 foot clock) and small ones (curio figures) smashed.    In fairness, the moving crews were polite and easy to work with, but their packing acumen was inconsistent, and the damages mounted as we unpacked. .

I used Element Moving for my initial move of household to storage, and then for the move into our new house.  The intial move experience was great, so I quickly scheduled them for my move into new home.  The move experience into our house was as good as the initial move.  The guys were very nice/polite, prompt, and carefule with all of the items.  They did a great job on what turned out to be a very cold day for North Texas.  I would recommend Element Moving to anyone looking for a company to hire, and I most definitely will use them for all future moves.

Form the moment of my first phone call, Hollie took the time to answer my all of my questions. After finding so many positive reviews, I called back and scheduled my move. All of our belongings were in storage and only moving a few miles down the road. The team of Jeremy, Moises, Roberto & Jorge showed up right on time, and even through it was raining all morning, Jeremy found a dry spot for he and I to discuss the contract one last time.   The guys jumped into the move and loaded the truck by far the fastest I have seen. One would think that this would not be secure or a cariing manner, yet these guys had a method to their speed! Very well packed and secure. Even going as far as to wipe the rain of the furniture as it was loaded on the truck.   Upon the unloading of the move, I had concerns with a new home and wood floors and the rain. . Jeremy and the guys laid down a protective covering and were found to be keeping things neat and tidy throughout the process. Once again an overall GREAT experiance to help alleviate the stress of moving. Thank you Element! You guys all are rock stars!   You will be referred many times!   Jason & Suzana  .
